Tom Aspinall has revealed that his eye injury is healing and he will soon receive clearance to return to full contact training. According to Aspinall, the UFC has notified him that his next bout will be against the winner of the upcoming Alex Pereira versus Ciryl Gane matchup. Aspinall stated that those two fighters need to compete first, recover from their fight, and then when everyone is ready, they will schedule his bout. The heavyweight contender is awaiting medical clearance before resuming full training.
