Carlos Prates sets UFC records for fastest to 7 KO wins and 14 knockdowns

Carlos Prates has achieved the fastest run to seven knockout victories in UFC history, accomplishing this in just eight fights. The closest competitors were heavyweights Daniel Cormier and Cain Velasquez, who needed nine fights. Only 62 fighters out of 2,710 in UFC roster history (2.29%) have even reached seven knockouts. Prates also set the record for fastest to 14 knockdowns, doing so in 17 incomplete rounds, and has the highest average knockdown rate per 15 minutes of fight time in UFC history. He has earned seven Performance of the Night bonuses in eight fights, nearly twice as fast as the average fighter who needs 15 bouts to reach that milestone.
