Carlos Prates has achieved unprecedented knockout statistics in UFC history. He reached seven knockout victories faster than anyone in UFC history, accomplishing it in just eight fights compared to nine fights for nearest competitors Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, both heavyweights. Only 2.29% of all UFC fighters (62 out of 2,710) have ever reached seven knockouts. He has finished two former UFC champions who had never been knocked out previously. The analysis suggests that if Islam Makhachev defeats Ian Garry, Prates, and Shavkat Rakhmonov, he would equal or surpass Jon Jones' legacy.
