Carlos Prates has achieved the fastest accumulation of seven knockout victories in UFC history, doing so in just eight fights. This surpasses previous records held by heavyweights like Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos, who needed nine fights. Only 62 of 2,710 fighters (2.29%) in UFC's 33-year history have reached seven knockouts at all. Prates also holds the record for fastest 14 knockdowns in UFC history, achieving this in just 17 incomplete rounds with the highest knockdown rate per 15 minutes. Additionally, he earned seven Performance of the Night bonuses in eight fights, nearly twice as fast as the average 15 fights required. He recently knocked out two former UFC champions who had never been knocked out before, including defeating one with leg kicks.
