Nate Diaz is in training camp ahead of his May 16 fight against Mike Perry at an MVP promotion event. The 41-year-old Diaz last competed in MMA in 2022 when he submitted Tony Ferguson. Since then, he has had two boxing matches and did not compete at all in 2025. The MVP card will also feature Francis Ngannou's return and bouts including Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano and a matchup involving Muin Gafurov and Marcos Moraes. Current footage shows Diaz appearing in solid physical condition.
