At welterweight, Ian Garry has risen to the number one contender spot, with Carlos Prates climbing to second place. Jack Della Maddalena, meanwhile, slid to fourth in the division. The 29-year-old Australian, who trains out of Scrappy MMA, carries an 18-4 record and remains one of the most active strikers in the 170-pound class, landing 5.57 significant strikes per minute at 51 percent accuracy. He also holds the 13th spot in the pound-for-pound rankings.

In the lightweight division, Quillan Salciido has entered the top 15 for the first time, while Beneil Dariush dropped to 14th place. Dariush, a 37-year-old southpaw out of Kings MMA, holds a 23-8-1 record and has long been a fixture in the 155-pound rankings. At heavyweight, Brendson Ribeiro made his top-15 debut. The 29-year-old Brazilian, nicknamed "The Gorilla," fights out of Brazilian TKO and owns a 17-10 record. Standing six-foot-three with an 81-inch reach, Ribeiro is an imposing physical presence in the division.

Why it matters

  • Garry and Prates sitting first and second at welterweight sets up a potential title eliminator between two of the division's most dangerous strikers
  • Della Maddalena's drop to fourth could push him toward a high-stakes bout to reclaim contender positioning
  • Ribeiro's heavyweight entry and Salciido's lightweight debut signal rising momentum for both fighters, while Dariush's slide raises questions about his path back up the 155-pound ladder
