Russian MMA fighters have been permitted to compete in youth international tournaments with their national flag and anthem. Winners of the Russian championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, held in Alushta, will be able to participate in IMMAF international competitions this year. Governor Mikhail Degtyarev announced the development on his Telegram channel. Additionally, IMMAF has restored the membership of the Union of MMA of Russia. This marks a significant policy shift for Russian athletes in international youth MMA competition.
