Russian MMA fighters cleared to compete at youth events with flag and anthem

Russian MMA athletes have been granted permission to participate in international youth tournaments with their national flag and anthem. According to Mikhail Degtyarev, winners of Russia's national championship for athletes aged 12 to 17, which took place in Alushta, will be eligible to compete in IMMAF international competitions this year. This decision marks a significant policy shift for Russian youth fighters on the international stage. IMMAF has also restored the membership of the Union of MMA of Russia, further normalizing relations.
