Topuria and Makhachev trade accusations over White House event fight

Ilia Topuria claimed he went to sleep knowing he would fight Islam Makhachev at the White House event, but was called hours before the announcement and told Makhachev was injured and he would face Justin Gaethje instead. Topuria said he doesn't know why Makhachev doesn't want to fight him and called him "strange." Makhachev responded that he's tired of Topuria's lies, stating he was offered the White House fight and accepted, but the next day was told Topuria demanded a huge fee and was denied. Makhachev insisted Topuria refused the fight and knows it, with even Topuria's manager confirming this version. In a separate comment, Makhachev cryptically wrote "Today it's not him" in response to a fan suggesting Ali Abdelaziz was managing his account at 4 AM.
