Mateusz Gamrot says Poland is cleaner, safer, and more modern than United States

The UFC lightweight contender stated that despite political issues in Poland, the country is cleaner, safer, and more modern in many everyday aspects than America. Gamrot cited examples such as Poland having portable payment terminals in restaurants a decade before they became common in the US. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues twice where he would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. Gamrot also described American social interactions as superficial, with people asking "how are you" but not wanting genuine responses. He acknowledged the US offers advantages for sports careers but emphasized that quality of life isn't necessarily better, noting even his children preferred going to their grandmother's in Poland over Florida beaches.
