Carlos Prates sets multiple UFC records in historic eight-fight run

Carlos Prates has achieved several unprecedented milestones in UFC history during his first eight fights. He accumulated 7 knockout victories faster than anyone in UFC history, doing so in 8 fights compared to heavyweights like Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez who needed 9 fights. Prates also recorded 14 knockdowns in just 17 incomplete rounds, the highest average knockdown rate per 15 minutes of fight time in UFC history. Additionally, he earned 7 Performance of the Night bonuses faster than any fighter ever, achieving this in 8 fights while the average fighter requires 15 bouts. The post notes that only 2.29% of all UFC fighters have ever achieved 7 knockouts in the promotion, and Prates has consecutively finished two former UFC champions who had never been knocked out before.
