Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States during an appearance on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast. Gamrot shared his observations from traveling, noting that Poland has had portable payment terminals in restaurants for over a decade while some US establishments only recently adopted them. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues twice where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food. Gamrot described American social interactions as superficial, exemplified by the automatic "How are you?" greeting. While acknowledging the US has advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that life quality is not necessarily better there, noting even his children prefer returning to Poland.
