Mateusz Gamrot argued that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite America's reputation. The UFC lightweight contender shared examples including outdated payment systems in American restaurants and superficial social interactions compared to genuine Polish hospitality. Gamrot noted that when he brought his family to Florida, his children actually missed Poland and wanted to return home despite being on a beautiful beach. He acknowledged that the US offers advantages for sports careers, but insisted that daily life quality is not necessarily better there. Gamrot emphasized that in Poland, everything from bureaucracy to personal relationships feels more authentic and efficient. His comments came during an appearance on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast.
