Mateusz Gamrot stated on the WojewódzkiKędzierski podcast that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. He cited examples including outdated payment systems in American restaurants and what he perceives as superficial social interactions in the US. Gamrot acknowledged that the US offers advantages for sports careers but argued that life quality is not necessarily better there. He shared that even his children prefer being in Poland, with his daughter once asking to return to her grandmother in Kudowa while on a Florida beach. Gamrot noted that while living in the US has career benefits for his fighting, handling everyday matters is easier at home in Poland.
