Mateusz Gamrot stated on the WojewódzkiKędzierski podcast that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The Polish lightweight shared his observations from traveling extensively, noting that restaurants in the US were behind Poland in payment technology by about ten years. Gamrot criticized American hospitality customs, saying he was invited to barbecues twice and would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He also commented that social interactions in America are superficial, citing the scripted nature of "how are you" exchanges. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, mentioning that even his children preferred returning home to Poland despite being on a Florida beach vacation.
