Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The lightweight fighter shared detailed observations from his time living and traveling in America, noting superficial social interactions and outdated payment technology in restaurants. Gamrot mentioned being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. He acknowledged that the US offers career advantages for sports but argued that quality of life is not necessarily better there. Gamrot noted that even his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over staying in Florida, despite the beaches and palm trees.
