Analysis revealed that the UFC light heavyweight division currently has the fewest fighters on winning streaks of three or more compared to all other weight classes. In the entire top-15 at 205 pounds, not a single fighter is on a three-fight winning streak excluding the champion. Only one fighter in the top-15 has any active winning streak at all, and that fighter is Paulo Costa, who earned one of those wins at middleweight. By contrast, the welterweight division is noted as the most competitive and deep. The data highlights an unusual lack of momentum and competitive depth in the light heavyweight rankings.
