Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, more hospitable than United States

Mateusz Gamrot stated in a podcast interview that despite Poland's legal and governmental issues, the country is cleaner, safer, and more modern than the United States in many everyday aspects. He cited examples like contactless payment terminals arriving in Poland a decade before some U.S. restaurants adopted them. Gamrot also criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. He described American social interactions as superficial, noting people expect only brief pleasantries rather than genuine conversation. While acknowledging the U.S. offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot said life quality is not necessarily better, and his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over Florida vacations.
