Khamzat Chimaev addressed media day comments ahead of his fight with Sean Strickland. He explained that he posted old sparring footage because Strickland claimed Chimaev only spars with weak opponents, and said Strickland would complain to the coach when things got too hard. Chimaev stated he wants to fight every three months and blamed visa issues for past inactivity. When asked if he wants a quick finish or to punish Strickland for his words, Chimaev said he will just go in and fight as always, and whatever happens will happen. He also said his future weight class depends on what UFC wants and how much they pay.
