Gamrot says Poland is cleaner, safer and more modern than United States

He argued that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable and in many ways more technologically modern than America, citing examples like payment terminals that were standard in Poland a decade before reaching US restaurants. Gamrot criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues twice where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He described American social interactions as superficial, giving an example of confusing someone by actually answering 'how are you' honestly rather than with the expected automatic 'fine.' While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot concluded that quality of life isn't necessarily better there, noting even his children prefer being home in Poland despite Florida beaches and palm trees.
