Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, and more modern than United States

Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on living in Poland versus the United States during a podcast appearance, stating that Poland is cleaner, safer, and in many ways more modern than America. The UFC lightweight contender cited examples of Poland being ahead technologically in everyday conveniences, recalling being surprised when a U.S. restaurant only recently adopted portable payment terminals that had been standard in Poland for over a decade. Gamrot also criticized American hospitality, claiming he was invited to barbecues twice where he would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish culture where guests are properly fed and cared for. He described American social interactions as superficial and noted that even his children, despite being on a Florida beach with palm trees, expressed wanting to return home to their grandmother in Kudowa. While acknowledging the United States offers advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that daily life is not necessarily better there.
