Mateusz Gamrot offered a detailed comparison between Poland and the United States, arguing that his home country surpasses America in several key areas despite political issues. He stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more modern in everyday technology, and significantly more hospitable than the US. Gamrot cited examples such as Poland having portable payment terminals a decade before they became common in American restaurants. He criticized American social interactions as superficial, describing the typical "How are you? Fine, bye bye" exchanges as lacking genuine interest. Gamrot also mentioned being invited to barbecues in the US where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. He acknowledged that the US offers career advantages for athletes but emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there. Even his children expressed preference for returning home to Poland despite being in Florida with palm trees and beaches.
