Tapology has added a new feature displaying opponent level ratings in UFC fighter profiles, calculated on a scale from 1 to 99. The rating considers only the last six UFC fights, excluding bouts from other organizations. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a 74 rating, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. At the lower end, Baisangur Susurkayev and Ozzy Diaz both registered a 4, with Jorden Santos at 6. The system provides insight into the quality of opposition each fighter has faced recently.
Tapology has rolled out a new opponent level rating system for UFC fighter profiles, assigning each competitor a score from 1 to 99 based on the quality of opposition they have faced across their last six UFC bouts, with the feature highlighted ahead of UFC 328 on May 9, 2026.

The system deliberately limits its scope to UFC appearances only, excluding fights from other promotions, giving a more focused picture of how each fighter has been tested inside the organization. Among the card's participants, the ratings reveal a wide spectrum of competitive histories.

Sean Strickland leads all UFC 328 fighters with an opponent level rating of 74. The reigning Middleweight champion from the United States trains out of Xtreme Couture and carries a 31-7-0 professional record at 35 years old. Standing six-foot-one with a 76-inch reach, Strickland is one of the sport's busiest strikers, landing 6.04 significant strikes per minute at 42 percent accuracy.

Heavyweight contender Alexander Volkov ranks second among the event's fighters with a 67 rating. The 37-year-old Russian, known as "Drago," holds a 40-11-0 record and sits at number one in the divisional rankings. At six-foot-seven with an 80-inch reach, Volkov lands 4.78 significant strikes per minute with an efficient 57 percent striking accuracy.

At the opposite end of the scale, Baisangur Susurkayev and Ozzy Diaz each registered a 4, while Jorden Santos scored a 6, reflecting more limited UFC competition in their recent histories.

Why it matters
- The rating offers a quick, standardized way to compare the competitive resumes of fighters across different divisions and experience levels.
- Strickland's 74 rating reinforces his status as someone consistently matched against elite middleweight opposition.
- Volkov's 67 score underlines his standing as a long-tenured heavyweight who has repeatedly faced top-ranked competition.
- Low ratings for newer fighters are not a negative reflection of ability, but rather a natural consequence of building a UFC record from the ground up.
