Tapology introduces opposition level metric for UFC fighters

Tapology has added a new feature to UFC fighter profiles that calculates and displays an opposition level score. The metric is expressed on a scale from 1 to 99 and is based on a specific formula detailed on the site, considering only the last six UFC bouts and excluding fights in other organizations. At UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with an opposition score of 74, followed by Hamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. At the bottom of the card, Baysangur Susurkayev and Ozzie Diaz each have a score of 4, indicating they have faced the weakest recent competition among listed fighters. The tool aims to provide fans with a data-driven perspective on the quality of opponents each fighter has faced.
