Tapology Introduces Opposition Level Metric for UFC Fighter Profiles

Fight database Tapology has launched a new feature that calculates and displays an opposition level rating for UFC fighters. The metric uses a proprietary formula that scores fighters on a scale from 1 to 99 based on their last six UFC opponents, with fights outside the UFC not factored into the calculation. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. At the bottom of the card, Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz both scored just 4. The system aims to quantify strength of schedule and quality of opposition faced by fighters.
