For the UFC 328 card, Sean Strickland leads with the highest opposition rating of 74, followed by Hamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. Joaquin Buckley and Sean Brady round out the top five at 55 and 54 respectively. At the bottom of the card, Baisangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz share the lowest rating at 4.
Tapology has unveiled a new opposition-level ranking system ahead of UFC 328, scheduled for May 9, 2026, and the metric places middleweight champion Sean Strickland atop the entire card with the highest score among all fighters competing that night.

The new feature assigns each UFC fighter a rating between 1 and 99 based on the quality of opposition they have faced across their last six UFC bouts, with fights from other organizations excluded from the calculation. For the UFC 328 card, Strickland leads at 74, followed by Hamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. Joaquin Buckley and Sean Brady round out the top five at 55 and 54 respectively. At the other end of the spectrum, Baisangur Susurkaev and Ozzy Diaz share the lowest rating on the card at 4.

Strickland, 35, holds a 31-7-0 record and carries the middleweight title into UFC 328 representing the United States out of Xtreme Couture. Standing six-foot-one with a 76-inch reach, he is one of the highest-volume strikers in the division, landing 6.04 significant strikes per minute.

Volkov, ranked first in the heavyweight division, brings a 40-11-0 record and considerable physical dimensions to his bout. The 37-year-old Russian stands six-foot-seven with an 80-inch reach and lands significant strikes at a 57 percent accuracy rate, among the sharper marks in the heavyweight tier.

Brady enters at number seven in the welterweight rankings with a 19-2-0 record. The 33-year-old from Renzo Gracie Philly is a grappling-oriented fighter who averages 3.53 takedowns per 15 minutes and lands strikes at 55 percent accuracy.
