Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. The Polish lightweight cited examples including Poland's earlier adoption of portable payment terminals and better hospitality customs compared to America. He described American social interactions as superficial and recounted being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food. While acknowledging advantages for his sports career in the U.S., Gamrot said daily life is not necessarily better there, noting that even his children preferred returning home to Poland despite being on a Florida beach. He emphasized that administrative matters are resolved more quickly at home where he knows the shortcuts.
