Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on living in Poland versus the United States during a podcast appearance. He argued that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than America, despite governmental issues. Gamrot cited examples like portable payment terminals being common in Poland ten years before becoming standard in US restaurants. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues twice where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He also noted that American social interactions are superficial, with people not knowing how to respond when he answered honestly instead of giving the expected 'fine' response. While acknowledging career advantages in the US for sports, Gamrot emphasized that life quality isn't necessarily better there, noting even his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland despite Florida's beaches and palm trees. He concluded that being home makes everything easier to navigate.
