Tapology introduces opponent quality rating system for UFC fighters

Tapology has implemented a new feature displaying opposition level ratings in UFC fighter profiles, calculated using a proprietary formula ranging from 1 to 99. The rating considers a fighter's last six UFC bouts only, excluding fights in other organizations. At UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. Joaquin Buckley and Sean Brady round out the top five at 55 and 54 respectively. On the lower end, Baysangur Susurkayev and Ozzy Diaz both have ratings of 4, with Jordon Santos at 6, and Yaroslav Amosov and Ateba Gautier at 7. The system provides a quantitative assessment of schedule difficulty for UFC fighters.
