Tapology introduces opponent strength metric for UFC fighters' profiles

Tapology has implemented a new feature displaying an 'opposition level' rating in UFC fighter profiles, calculated using a proprietary formula and expressed on a scale from 1 to 99. The metric considers only a fighter's last six UFC bouts, excluding fights in other organizations. For UFC 328, Sean Strickland leads with a rating of 74, followed by Khamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. The lowest ratings on the card belong to Baysangur Susurkaev and Ozzie Diaz, both at 4, with Jorden Santos at 6. The system aims to quantify the quality of competition fighters have faced in recent UFC appearances.
