Mateusz Gamrot stated in a podcast interview that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. He cited examples of Poland having portable payment terminals in restaurants a decade before they became common in America, and criticized the superficial nature of American social interactions. Gamrot recounted attending barbecues in the U.S. where he would have gone hungry if he hadn't brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. He also shared that his children, despite being in Florida with beaches and palm trees, still preferred to return to their grandmother in Poland. While acknowledging the U.S. offers advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that life quality is not necessarily better there, and that in Poland he can navigate systems more efficiently.
