Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer and more modern than United States

Polish lightweight Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite its political problems. He cited examples of payment technology in Polish restaurants being about 10 years ahead of American establishments, and criticized American hospitality culture as superficial. Gamrot recounted attending barbecues in the US where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting it with Polish hospitality traditions. He also noted that his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Kudowa, Poland over beach vacations in Florida. While acknowledging the US offers advantages for sports careers, Gamrot emphasized that daily life quality and problem-solving are easier in his home country where he knows the shortcuts and systems.
