Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, more modern than United States

UFC lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. He cited examples including Poland having portable payment terminals in restaurants ten years before they became standard in America. Gamrot criticized American social interactions as superficial, recalling an incident where someone didn't know how to respond when he gave an honest answer to "How are you?" He noted that while the US offers career advantages for fighters, quality of life isn't necessarily better, pointing out that his children preferred returning to their grandmother in Poland over staying in Florida. Gamrot emphasized that despite Poland's governmental issues, daily life there is more efficient and genuinely welcoming.
