Gamrot also criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He described American social interactions as superficial, noting people are unprepared for genuine responses to casual greetings. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot emphasized that life quality is not necessarily better there, and even his children prefer returning to Poland.
