Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, more modern than United States

UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite political issues at home. He cited examples such as portable payment terminals being introduced in US restaurants years after they became standard in Poland a decade ago. Gamrot criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He also noted the superficial nature of American social interactions. While acknowledging career advantages in the US, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, sharing that his children preferred returning home to Poland even while on a Florida beach vacation. He concluded that handling everyday matters is simpler at home where one knows all the shortcuts.
