Mateusz Gamrot claims Poland cleaner and more modern than United States

UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot stated in a podcast interview that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. Gamrot cited examples including Poland having portable payment terminals 10 years before some US restaurants. He criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish culture. Gamrot also noted that Americans engage in superficial conversations, describing how people were confused when he gave an honest answer to "How are you?" rather than the expected "Fine." Despite acknowledging career advantages in the US, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, noting his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland despite being at a Florida beach.
