Tapology introduces opponent quality metric for UFC fighters

Tapology has launched a new feature that calculates and displays an opposition level score for UFC fighters, ranging from 1 to 99. The metric is based on a specific formula that considers only a fighter's last six UFC bouts, excluding fights in other organizations. In the UFC 328 card, Sean Strickland leads with a score of 74, followed by Hamzat Chimaev at 69 and Alexander Volkov at 67. At the lower end, Baysangur Susurkayev and Ozzy Diaz both scored 4, representing the weakest strength of schedule on the card. The system provides fans and analysts with a quantifiable measure of the quality of competition fighters have faced.
