Mateusz Gamrot stated in a podcast interview that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. He criticized American hospitality, citing instances where he was invited to barbecues but had to bring his own food or go hungry, contrasting it with Polish generosity. Gamrot noted that Poland had contactless payment terminals ten years before they became common in American restaurants. He described American social interactions as superficial, with people not genuinely interested in responses to "How are you?" While acknowledging career advantages in the U.S., Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there. He mentioned that even his children, despite being in Florida with beaches and palm trees, expressed wanting to return home to their grandmother in Poland.
