Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective on Poland compared to the United States, praising his home country as cleaner, safer, and more hospitable despite its political challenges. He cited examples of the US lagging behind Poland in everyday conveniences, noting that contactless payment terminals arrived in Poland a decade before some American establishments. Gamrot criticized American hospitality as superficial, recounting experiences where hosts at barbecues didn't provide food and conversations remained surface-level. He mentioned that even his children prefer Poland, with his daughter once asking to return to their grandmother in Kudowa while on a beach vacation in Florida. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for athletes, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life isn't necessarily better there, and that navigating daily life is simpler and more efficient in Poland.
