Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite having problematic laws and government. Gamrot recounted experiences in American restaurants still adopting portable payment terminals years after they became standard in Poland, and described American hospitality as superficial with formulaic greetings. He recalled being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry had he not brought his own food, contrasting this with Polish hospitality. Gamrot noted that while the US offers advantages for sports careers, life there is not necessarily better, citing his children preferring to be with their grandmother in Poland despite being in Florida. He emphasized that resolving everyday matters is faster at home where one knows the shortcuts.
