Tapology introduces opponent quality rating system for UFC fighters

Tapology has launched a new feature that calculates and displays an "opposition level" rating for UFC fighters. The metric uses a proprietary formula to assign each fighter a score from 1 to 99, based on their last six UFC fights only, excluding bouts in other organizations. For UFC 328, the top five ratings are Sean Strickland at 74, Khamzat Chimaev at 69, Alexander Volkov at 67, Joaquin Buckley at 55, and Sean Brady at 54. The lowest ratings on the card belong to Baysangur Susurkayev and Ozzy Diaz, both at 4. The system provides a quantifiable measure of the strength of competition each fighter has faced recently in the UFC.
