Mateusz Gamrot stated in a podcast interview that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States. He criticized American hospitality, citing experiences where he was invited to barbecues but had to bring his own food or go hungry, contrasting this with Polish generosity. Gamrot noted that Poland is ahead of the US in everyday conveniences, pointing out that contactless payment terminals arrived in American restaurants years after they were standard in Poland. He also commented on what he perceives as superficial American social interactions. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for sports, Gamrot said home life in Poland is better, and his family, including his children, prefer being in Poland. The comments were made on the "WojewódzkiKędzierski" podcast.
