Mateusz Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer, more modern than United States

UFC lightweight Mateusz Gamrot stated that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States, despite political issues at home. He cited examples like restaurants in the U.S. only recently adopting portable payment terminals that Poland had implemented a decade ago. Gamrot criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting it with Polish generosity. He described American social interactions as superficial, noting that people are unprepared for genuine responses to "How are you?" Gamrot acknowledged career advantages in the U.S. for sports but emphasized that quality of life isn't necessarily better, sharing that his children preferred visiting their grandmother in Poland over being at the beach in Florida.
