Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable, and in many ways more modern than the United States based on his extensive travel experience. He cited examples of Poland having contactless payment terminals in restaurants ten years before he saw them in American establishments. Gamrot criticized American hospitality customs, noting he was invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He described American social interactions as superficial, recounting an incident where his honest response to "how are you" left someone confused. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for his sport, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better there, noting even his children prefer home in Poland despite Florida's beaches and palm trees.
