Gamrot says Poland cleaner, safer and more modern than USA in many ways

Mateusz Gamrot shared his perspective that Poland is cleaner, safer, more hospitable and in many respects more modern than the United States. He cited an example of a US restaurant only recently getting portable payment terminals, technology Poland had a decade earlier. Gamrot criticized American hospitality, recounting being invited to barbecues where he would have gone hungry without bringing his own food, contrasting this with Polish generosity. He described American social interactions as superficial, with people asking "how are you" but not wanting genuine answers. While acknowledging the US offers career advantages for athletes, Gamrot emphasized that quality of life is not necessarily better, noting his children prefer visiting their grandmother in Poland over Florida beaches. He also mentioned that navigating bureaucracy and daily tasks is easier at home where he knows all the shortcuts.
