Alexander Volkov discussed the significance of Victory Day and how he teaches his children about the holiday while living abroad. Volkov said he views May 9 more with sorrow than joy, grateful for the victory but deeply saddened that such events occurred. He emphasized teaching his children a pacifist approach, echoing the Soviet-era sentiment of "as long as there's no war." When asked to describe Moscow in three words five years after calling it "dirt, traffic jams, construction," Volkov praised the city's transformation. He stated that after visiting last summer, he considers Moscow "the best city in the world" for living, beauty, and overall quality. Volkov contrasted the current cleanliness with his previous description, noting that everything is now excellent and worthy in the Russian capital.
