Jim Miller secured his 14th submission in the UFC at age 42, finishing his opponent with his fifth guillotine choke in the promotion. Miller is now just two fights away from reaching 50 total UFC bouts, which would set an all-time record. He currently holds the record for most UFC wins with 28 and is second in finishes with 20, trailing only Charles Oliveira's 21. Miller has compiled an impressive 7-3 record in his last 10 fights after turning 38, with all seven victories coming by finish. His career was significantly impacted years ago when he contracted Lyme disease from a tick bite, which caused him to lose physical conditioning and alter his body composition, though he eventually recovered and continued competing at a high level.
