Yaroslav Amosov secured a second-round submission victory in his UFC debut, finishing his opponent Alvarez with an arm triangle just 12 seconds after taking him down. Despite Alvarez landing strikes in the second round, Amosov executed a successful leg attack followed by an amplitude throw and immediately transitioned to the submission. Alvarez had never been submitted before this fight. Since his loss to Jason Jackson in Bellator 2.5 years ago, Amosov has won three consecutive fights by submission and improved his career record to 30-1. After the fight, Amosov performed breakdancing and called for a top-10 opponent.
