He broke his hand and nose, and also sustained a leg injury while securing his third consecutive UFC finish. Despite improving his UFC record to 3-0 with three stoppages and showing the ability to win difficult fights, Susurkayev faces an extended layoff. At the post-fight press conference, he expressed his desire to return to action in August, but doctors have informed him he'll need to take six months off to recover from his injuries.
