Yaroslav Amosov defeated his Spanish opponent Alvarez by submission in the second round after landing an arm triangle that forced the tapout in just 12 seconds. Although Alvarez was finding success striking in the second round, Amosov secured a leg takedown, executed an amplitude throw, and immediately transitioned to the submission. This marks Amosov's third consecutive submission victory since his loss to Jackson 2.5 years ago, improving his MMA record to 30-1. Notably, Alvarez had never previously been submitted in his career. After the victory, Amosov performed a breakdance celebration and called for a top-10 opponent.
